Crafty Fun with New Products!!!

Today I would like to talk about and review some new products by EK Success. I have always been a super fan of their punches.
I like the "weight" of the punches and the fact that they punch smoothly.
I made this card using one of their border punches.
It punched really cleanly. I did not have any tearing issues.
While looking at their web site I saw some items that definitely intrigued me. I was excited when I saw they had these new tattoo stickers!
Uh, these rock. Plain and simple. This isn't your mother's Jolee stickers!
They would be fun for a "Wild Thing" page about your child or a tattoo page. My ancestry is Mexican and Spanish so I have always been appreciative of Day of the Dead {Mexican holiday} skulls and items so I would totally use these on a page about it.
I don't have any of the skull stickers--yet--but I did get this nifty EK Success skull punch.
Cute, huh? I really think it will come in handy on my "punk rock" and pirate projects. I have a lot of photos of my son as a pirate, too!
I used a few of their items on this layout (scraplift of Amber Skolnick):
I traced cups to make my circles. I used my Bic-It markers so it would not smear.
Then I cut various pieces of ribbon and glued/stapled.
I used the skull punch to add interest. I used Cosmo Cricket papers to punch the skull out.
Printed pic of my cat--I tried to make it look Polaroid-ish.
And I used their new Hannah Montana stickers for my title. Okay, the stickers had an awesome raised texture and I loved the glitz-n-glamour feel of them.
I also used some of their Sticko stickers. I love that once you put them on a page, they are not prone to falling off. I hate when I go to scan a page or card and my embellishments fall off or turn sideways.
Okay one last item I really want to talk about--their felting kits. Have you seen felted stuff on etsy? I have wanted to try felting but never made the time. It is easy peasy!
And EK sells tiny kits with everything you already need inside. This was a ladybug kit I got. I am not done with her but will share when she is finished.
I will also share a felting tutorial--coming soon!!!
So I've got a mega EK Success giveaway for my blog readers today...3 giveaways!!!
Just go visit EK Success or an online site that sells their items and tell me which product you heart! Leave it under comments. Next Tuesday, April 21st at 1pm CST I will have random # generator choose 3 winners! 3 chances--yay!! You can do more than one entry--I will count your entry for each time you provide a link back to any forums, blogs, twitter, etc. Just post the link back under comments, too and it counts! P.S. I wasn't scrapbooking by myself. My little Harrison decided to make a card for our dog Kipper. I love the K on the flower LOL and all the red glitter glue he used to stick the flowers on his card!!
P.P.S. My knitting class? It has been challenging but I am not giving up! My mom is teaching me crochet so I can compare the two.
