Have you seen these adorable tags from The Black Apple??? They are free!!! I wish I had seen them before Christmas...boo. But I am going to use them on Harrison's birthday gifts!!! His birthday is Dec.28 so I feel swamped lately. I also have the Jan. 1st deadline for Scrap N Art, Jan. 5th deadline for my creative team ScrapCity stuff and I still have to buy stuff for his birthday party! I like keeping busy though.
This year we are going small and family only on the birthday. Its going to be at my mom's lovely house. I am always so jealous of her beautiful decorating style...shabby chic and vintage. She also keeps the cleanest house I have ever seen!!
I need to share Christmas pics with you soon. I took like over 600+!!! We just had a lot of gatherings this year. Thank you, thank you to all our family members and friends for the wonderful Christmas gifts and cards this year.
Ben is doing some after Christmas shopping at JC Penney. :) When he returns we are heading to Target and Toys R Us. :) Love shopping!!!
So let's talk crafting!
My in-laws gave me a gift card to Michaels and I already have it all spent in my head hehe. I am going to buy some perler beads, sewing stuff (been making lots of felt dolls lately), and of course, scrapbook stuff!
Journaling is something I *always* struggle with. Look at this neat journaling site!
I learned a fun, new (to me) paint technique I really want to share with you, too. I will make a tutorial when I get a chance. I hope your holidays are going super duper!!!
Download Black Apple tags here
I hear Ben's car so I better go and get ready!

I have a wedding and a birthday party to go to today and felt like it was time for a much needed mommy makeover. Got my hair "did", cut and colored, nails done. New makeup. I feel happy.
I HATE to take pictures of myself especially at 4am in mirrors that very badly need Windex-ing while wearing my pjs but here goes....LOL
This pic is funny because there was lipstick on my teeth and as I was swiping it the camera went off.
I went from black hair to red with highlights. Love it!
Um..it is very hard to get a decent mirror photo without the camera in it (for me anyway)...you can see my hands on the camera at the bottom of this pic LOL.
I really like this photo but unfortunately this mirror needed Windex the MOST...go figure.
Looks like I'm crying--or melting half my face.
Since my night lighting was so funky its hard for you to see the actual new color so here is a close-up:
Have a good weekend!!! :)

It *FINALLY* snowed here Tuesday!!
Harrison had his snow bib on when it just started! I love how it made him have a poofy bottom!
Here he is patiently waiting for me to find his snow boots. We also argued because I wanted him to wear a real winter hat but he wanted to wear a Santa hat. He won.
We tried to fingerpaint the snow but the snow would stick to the paint. I got misters to fill with food coloring so next time it snows we'll spray it colors.
After play it was bath time. H is loving foam bath toys because they stick on the walls and tub.
OMG check out my way messy desk. I have been working to clear the mess here and there tonight. I just have a ton of projects I have been working on.
Mainly I can't stop making felt dolls!
I want to share the pattern with you:

I got it out of a Family Fun children's craft book but cannot remember the exact name or author.
We found these cool washable ink pads at the Target $1 spot and I was able to finally get this
child identification kit done:
I believe you can get them from any State Farm insurance agent for free. That is how we got ours. I tried to make it about making fun fingerprints so Harrison would comply LOL.
I know I am overprotective but with the Adam Walsh case being in the news again lately it really got me to thinking I needed to get it done.
Oh hai there! Ronald says "hi."
After awhile the novelty of the cold weather wore off so we hit up McD's to play.
and we mailed that Santa letter.
Putting the stamp on...
Opening the post office box at the post office....while holding his elf doll.
I started to help him open it but he said, "Lemme do it myself momma."
uh...my baby is growing up!
