This is the page I used the Scribbles epoxy for journaling. I put an index card behind it...
And I made a teensy card for my BIL Eric.
And the photo of the day...
Harrison--still in his jammies--playing in his ball pit.
We had a lazy day today. The highlight of the day was when I left the mac n cheese on the stove and forgot about it LOL.
I know it isn't October yet but I feel like starting now...so there. LOL
Today's giveaway is a package of Scribbles epoxies by Rhonna Farrer. I used one the other day on a layout and these are so cute!!
First person to comment gets the pack. :) Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your addy if you are my first commentor (please put subject BLOG GIVEAWAY...thanks). If you aren't first then keep an eye out on my blog all month for more teeny giveaways!

I got one hybrid scrapbook page finished this weekend.
That's it for me--I am going to be lazy the rest of the day. :)

I have photos to share from the zoo and some from H's camera.
Oh, and just in case you were losing sleep at night wondering, here is what the "Booger" candy looks like. Yuck!
I finished book 4, Breaking Dawn. I am reading the excerpts from 5, Midnight Sun on Stephenie Meyer's blog (on page 40 right now). Link here~
I finally found a forum to share my obsession! I've joined Twilight Moms!
I so cannot wait for the movie!!! I also want to see Nick and Norah's Playlist. That movie looks cute!
So since I shared an ugly pic of the candy here is something pretty for your eyes...
These are Prima fabric flowers. So pretty! And a bargain at $3 a pack.
The rest of the week Harrison and I made painted pumpkins from stuffed brown paper sacks.
We made that Monster Mash treat...
Looks messy but all the chocolate was worth it!
Here is the recipe:
6 squares of almond bark divided (we used the chocolate kind)
1 1/2 cups pretzel sticks
orange food coloring (we did not use since we used the chocolate almond bark)
2 cups golden graham cereal
3/4 cup Halloween/Fall colored M&Ms
3/4 mini marshmallows
1/2 cup chocolate sprinkles
Place 1 1/2 squares almond bark in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave until melted.
Put pretzel sticks in a large bowl add melted almond bark and mix untill the pretzels are covered. Spread coated pretzel sticks out on waxed paper, separating individual sticks, let set.
Place the remaining 4 1/2 squares almond bark in medium sized microwavable bowl. Microwave until completely melted. Stir in food coloring untill almond bark is bright orange.
Place cereal in large bowl. Add half of colored almond bark stir until cereal is covered. Add M&Ms, Marshmallows, and remaining almond bark. Stir until mix is evenly coated. Stir in pretzel sticks.
Break mix into small clusters and spread out on waxed paper. Sprinkle clusters with sprinkles, let set and ENJOY!
We made it for Ben along with my album, and H picked some flowers for daddy and made him some bug pictures (all in orange marker).
Here are our zoo pics.
When we entered, a squirrel ran right by us.
They look so cute but I know this bear would totally eat me if given the chance!
The tiger house...
Then we went to see the gorillas.
This alligator pic cracks me up!
Black bears this time...
They were play fighting.
H and I played hide and seek in one of the air conditioned buildings. It was empty so we had free reign to be silly.
Oh my, check out the sleeping skunk!
I think he is a hornbill.
Favorite shot of the day???
The grizzlies kissing. I wanted to get closer but H wanted to go into another building so I had to take a quick shot from a distance.
I have to share H's pics with you!!!
He has been using his Kid Tough camera on all our "adventures." I find he deletes the pics almost as soon as he takes them!! I guess the big red button is too appealing. It makes a funny noise, too, so that probably encourages it. I made myself a new watermark and made him one, too, while I was at it.
I absolutely reccommend getting your children a camera, even a disposable one. Life is so interesting from their viewpoint!
These are from our backyard.
An upside down duck toy?
Benny from Bob the Builder toy, and one of our tables.
These are from when we were waiting in line at the station to ride Thomas:
He takes a lot of his feet...
*Ben and I's favorite!!* Looks like a magazine pic!
I'll share more from time to time if I can keep his little chubby fingers off the delete button--I may just put tape over it or something!
We are off to take a nap...nobody slept good last night. Harrison woke up at 3am and has been up since. I am going to go read him to sleep!!
Have a happy weekend!!!!

we made Monster Mash treats. It was messy! They taste so yum!
I'll post the recipe and pics soon. H and I spent all day yesterday at the zoo. I think we got overheated (even with water and ice cream in our tummies) because when I came home I got sick to my stomach with nausea. :(
I finished my Ben album. We also picked flowers from our wild flower garden for him. Harrison is going to give it all to him when he gets home today.
Ben had to work late yesterday and he has to on Thursday because they have conferences and then teachers get Friday off. We bought tickets to ride Thomas the train on Friday! Thankfully, we got seats in the air conditioned car, car B. It is called Day Out with Thomas. We go every year, but last year we did not ride the train. Ugh, the raised the price of tickets this year, too, but I guess since we don't ever take vacations since the price of gas went up, this is our staycation instead. :)
I am almost finished with book 3, Eclipse. I think I am going to order the last one, Breaking Dawn, from Amazon. Then once I finish the whole series (is there going to be a #5???) I can join the living again!
So I'll post pics of the zoo and our Monster Mash stuff later. I need to find the cord to Harrison's camera so I can upload his pics soon, too. He has been taking pics like crazy. It makes me realize how I annoying I probably am when I take pics all the time! LOL No, I don't mind. I just told him he can't get any of my bottom or something. He took a really neat one today of his feet in the grass.

I found some awesome vintage finds over the weekend. Our favorite local antique store, Rink Gallery, was having a sale that benefited the Marshall Orphanage.
I have to say the old stamps were my fave find. :)
I am able to re-live my childhood by purchasing this salt and pepper set. I grew up with them! Then my mom gave them to Goodwill, and I probably just re-purchased our old set. They make me happy. Now they are on a shelf in my scrap room. :)
Mom and son apron set for me and H...
some cases to put scrap stuff in...
a metal Ernie car for Harrison.
Newsweek from the 60s
more Melamine cups for my collection...they are bright, plastic
I can't explain this. It is a beanie baby tree. I don't own any beanie babies! LOL but I love this tree. I am going to paint it. Any ideas on what it could hold??
old wooden magazine rack. I will paint and crackle this, too.
I also bought a creepy clown for my husband to creep him out. I told him it was going to sleep in the bed with us at night LOL. It is in the washing machine right now so there is not a pic (unless I remember later). And a Cat in the Hat doll for H.
So update on the butterflies!!! We released them Saturday afternoon.
Ben tapped the cage so they would fly out. They all flew out and up in the sky...
All but one...
This little guy decided to stay in our flower bed.
but he had lots of company!!!:)
I helped my little brother on a school project...
He has to do a presentation on the Great Plains Indians. Yes, he did the work! I just helped here and there.
I am almost done with New Moon--I have like 30 pages left.
My mom bought me book 3, Eclipse, this morning at WalMart!! She is reading my copy of Twilight now.
I leave you with this...
Proof there are too many males in this house! My son found this candy in the Halloween section at WalMart this morning!!!
